Hello, hello! My name is Stephen Kromka ("Dr. K") and I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor in the Department of Communication at The University of Tampa. I hold a Ph.D. in Communication Studies with my primary emphasis in Instructional Communication and my secondary emphasis in Family Communication. My research focuses on narrative pedagogy; how instructor narratives may influence student learning in the classroom. Some of my current research interests include instructor self-disclosure, classroom content relevance, family storytelling, parental divorce impact on children, and putative secrets in the family.

I am a strategic storytelling coach, instructor, speaker, and consultant. Moreover, I teach workshops in areas such as personal branding, LinkedIn page development, and team-building.
